This contribution aims to analyze the relationship between technological applications and transformations of sensitivity. Moving beyond the idea of technology as a mere set of mechanical operations, a paradigm is increasingly emerging that recognizes how contemporary technologies have a structural impact on the domain of the sensitive. The central issue concerns the point of access through which new technologies become integrated into the processes that shape sensitivity. Within this framework, particular significance is assumed by the emergence of a perspective that highlights the originally mediated character of the sensitive. Technological mediation, in this sense, can be understood as a form of second-degree mediation, capable of amplifying and multiplying an element that is already constitutive of our experience of the world.
